The
Letter Y
This
section provides information on terms and phrases beginning with
the letter Y
At the grabber we know finance is full of
confusing terms and phrases, and so on this page we explain:
Yield | Your
Finance
Yield is the amount of income an investment delivers after
deduction of charges, usually expressed as a percentage of the
amount invested. Taking property redevelopment as a example,
investing in property is a growing way of making profit on a
investment. Properties have seen their values increase
significantly recently, so buying a building and performing work
on it, should result in an increase in value. If you then sell
that building the profit made on the investments is its yield.
The Grabber has a section on
property investment for those who are interested.
